Our Vision
is to offer high quality trees at a reasonable price. We start with bare root shipments, we plant them in containers/boxes and when they become established they will go up for sale. This ensures that the trees you purchase are always a high quality product. We are actual growers and not just resellers, which gives us the great trees we have always been known for.
George Nakayama
George Nakayama,
was the founder of Chino Nursery.
He was born in California to Japanese immigrants and was raised through the Great Depression and spent many of his younger years as a farmer in California.
He faithfully served his country during WWII.
In the 1950's he moved to Arizona.
After spending some time in Mesa he moved to the small town of Chino Valley and later opened the nursery.
His hard work and honesty is what has allowed Chino Nursery to become a pillar and long lasting business in this community.
